Terms and Conditions for AIoT Global Summit: Economic Growth

1. Summit Overview:

The AIoT Global Summit: Economic Growth, hosted by TechTALK, is an online event focused on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (AIoT). This event will bring together industry experts, thought leaders, and practitioners to discuss the role of AIoT in driving economic growth, share emerging trends, and provide valuable networking opportunities.

2. Summit Highlights:

  • Keynotes: Hear from industry-leading experts on AIoT’s potential for economic transformation.

  • Diverse Talks: Participate in 50+ sessions that cover a broad range of topics, from cutting-edge AIoT innovations to best practices and real-world applications.

  • Virtual Exhibition Area: Explore a dynamic online space featuring innovative products, startups, and AIoT solutions.

  • Workshops and Breakouts: Enhance your skills through interactive and hands-on learning experiences.

  • Global Networking: Engage with professionals, researchers, and decision-makers shaping the AIoT ecosystem.

3. Event Details:

  • Date: 15 July 2025 (9:00 am – 5:00 pm AEST)

  • Location: Virtual (via Zoom)

  • Expected Attendance: 1000+ participants

4. Registration & Payment:

  • Ticket Pricing: Discounted tickets (e.g., Early Bird) are valid only if payment is received in full by the specified deadline. Failure to meet the deadline may result in the re-invoicing of tickets at the standard price.

  • Ticket Sharing: Tickets are non-transferable. The registered individual must attend the event.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy for Participants:

  • Individual Tickets: If you are unable to attend the summit, you must notify us in writing (email) at least 30 days prior to the event for a refund, minus a 20% service charge (plus GST). No refunds will be issued for cancellations after this period, but you may transfer your ticket to a substitute delegate at no additional charge. No changes to registration will be accepted within 7 days of the event.

  • Group Tickets: Group ticket bookings must be made for attendees from the same organization. Partial refunds are not available if some delegates are unable to attend. If the entire group is unable to attend, cancellations must be made at least 30 days before the event for a refund, minus a 20% service charge (plus GST). A substitute delegate(s) may attend in place of those unable to participate. No changes to registration will be accepted within 7 days of the event.

  • Event Cancellation: In the rare case of event cancellation, a full refund will be issued to all participants. Please note that sponsorship, partnership, and exhibitor contributions are non-refundable. However, we are committed to providing value and maintaining strong relationships with our partners. In such cases, we will offer credit toward participation in a rescheduled event or a future event of equal value.

6. Live Streaming & Technical Issues:

  • The summit will be live-streamed. TechTALK cannot be held responsible for any technical difficulties, including access, IT, internet, or Wi-Fi issues, that attendees experience before, during, or after the live event.

  • Attendees are responsible for ensuring their devices meet the technical requirements for attending the online event.

  • Sharing access to the live stream or recorded content with others is strictly prohibited. Each ticket grants access to one individual only.

7. Event Modifications:

  • TechTALK reserves the right to modify the event agenda or content in the best interest of the summit, including speaker changes or the addition/removal of sessions. Please check the event website for the most up-to-date information.

8. Event Recording & Media Use:

  • By attending the summit, you consent to the recording of your participation in any media (photos, videos, audio) during the event.

  • TechTALK may use these recordings for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes without additional permission. If you do not wish for your image to be used, please notify us in writing at least 7 days prior to the event (apply to all sponsors, speakers, and participants).

  • Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of event media by any individual or organization not affiliated with TechTALK is prohibited.

9. Sponsorship Terms:

  • Sponsorship Benefits: Sponsors will receive the benefits as outlined in the sponsorship package, including logo visibility, access to the virtual exhibition area, and other agreed-upon promotional opportunities.

  • Content Requirements: Sponsors are responsible for providing their content, such as logos, banners, videos, and any other promotional materials, within the specified deadlines to ensure proper placement and visibility during the summit.

  • Compliance with Event Guidelines: Sponsors must adhere to the event’s guidelines for virtual booths, branding, and promotional materials. Failure to comply with the guidelines may result in exclusion from the event without a refund.

10. Event Liability & Indemnity:

  • TechTALK takes all necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of event attendees and sponsors. However, by attending or sponsoring the event, you acknowledge that TechTALK is not liable for any direct or indirect losses, damages, or injuries incurred during the summit, whether in-person or virtually.

  • Participants and sponsors agree to indemnify and hold harmless TechTALK, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims arising out of their participation in the event.

  • TechTALK is not responsible for any actions, content, or claims made by sponsors, speakers, or participants before, during, or after the event. Sponsors, speakers, and participants are solely responsible for their presentations, promotional activities, and any information they share during the event.

11. Data Protection:

  • TechTALK values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. Any information provided during registration will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

  • By registering for the event, you consent to TechTALK using your contact details to communicate event-related information, including updates, changes, and promotional content.

  • For privacy, we do not share your Personally Identifiable Information (PII) with any third party, unless you opt in to share your information through dedicated webpages and enquiry forms provided by TechTALK, sponsors, and exhibitors.

12. Code of Conduct:

  • All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors must adhere to a code of conduct that promotes respectful communication and professional behavior. Discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.

  • Violators of the code of conduct may be removed from the event without refund.

13. Force Majeure:

  • TechTALK will not be held liable for any failure to deliver the event as planned due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, or technical failures.

14. Governing Law:

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts in New Zealand.
