Dr Craig Sutherland is a lecturer in the Department of Electrical, Computer and Software Engineering at The University of Auckland. He teaches the next generation of engineers to use robotics and autonomous systems. Previously, he explored how people and robots can interact together and how to improve robots in healthcare. Before joining the University, he worked in software development in the healthcare, education and finance sectors. He uses this experience to teach students what the real world is like and what they can expect after their education at the University.
