Lena Waizenegger is a Senior Lecturer in Business Information Systems at the Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. She received her PhD from the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Her main research areas are (a) ubiquitous connectivity and team collaboration (b) conversational agents and the effects on the human workforce and customer experience and (c) digital disconnection. Lena’s research has been published in various peer-reviewed Journals such as Internet Research, the International Journal of Knowledge Management (IJKM), the Journal of Travel Research, Vocations and Learning, and Cutter Business Technology Journal. Besides academic outlets, her research is also featured in wide-reaching public media outlets such as Forbes, Psychology Today, and the Daily Mail.
